Senshi No Tabi: The Warrior's Journey

Senshi No Tabi: The Warrior's Journey is a 2D turn based combat against mythological creatures of feudal Japan. 

I created this game with 2 friends as a subject for my bachellor's degree in videogame programming and game design. One of them was in charge of art and the other was in charge of programming along with me, who was programming and doing game design and worked as a producer.

This game was created because I wanted to do something different from the usual 2D platformers in order to learn something new. And so, we took darkest dungeon as our main inspiration (mainly in the combat format and simple 2-frame combat animations) and decided to do something similar but simpler.
